Arrivés à Vesoul le 19 août 2014, 4 vétérans américains de la 3e Division d'Infanterie accompagnés de familles américaines sont venus rendre hommage à leurs Frères d'armes tombés sur le sol Français pour notre Liberté.

Dès le lendemain, ils ont entamé leur périple qui les mènera jusque dans la poche de Colmar. Ce 20 août 2014, ils se sont arrétés à Saulx de Vesoul puis Raddon suivi de Faucogney et enfin Rupt sur Moselle. Chaque arrêt aura été ponctué par une cérémonie avec, parfois, l'inauguration d'une Stèle.

Le 21 août au matin, un hommage solennel fût rendu aux Soldats inhumés au cimetière Américain d'Epinal. A l'issue, les Vétérans ont repris la route pour le Col du Haut Jacques puis vers Colmar .

Arriving in Vesoul on August 19, 2014, 4 American veterans of the 3rd Infantry Division accompanied by American families came to pay tribute to their Brothers in Arms who fell on French soil for our Freedom.

The next day, they began their journey that will lead them to the Colmar pocket. On August 20, 2014, they stopped at Saulx de Vesoul then Raddon followed by Faucogney and finally Rupt sur Moselle. Each stop was punctuated by a ceremony with, sometimes, the inauguration of a stele.

On the morning of August 21, a solemn tribute was paid to the Soldiers buried in the American cemetery of Epinal. At the end, the Veterans took again the road for the Col du Haut Jacques then towards Colmar.
