Des membres de la tribu des Powatatomi du Michigan sont venus honorer leur frère Edward Winchester soldat de la 3 eme division d,infanterie tombe au combat entre Jebsheim et Guemar en janvier 1945
Après une cérémonie que nous ne pouvions photographier et des rites propres à leur tribu, ils se sont rendus en Alsace pour visiter l endroit où Edward a perdu la vie.

Members of the POWATATOMI. tribe of Michigan came to honor their brother Edward Winchester, soldier in the 3 rd US Infantry Division KIA between Jebsheim and Guemar in the Colmar Pocket in January 1945.
After the ceremony that no one could take pictures of, they went to Alsace to visit the place where Edward lost his life.
